A new height in watchmaking

The Herschberger No. 001 marks Tim's first foray into a higher quality area of watchmaking. The watch runs on a COSC-rated Sellita SW200-1 movement modified to remove the date and date position of the stem. Tim spend hours finding someone who could print a dial and more hours designing the dial. The inspiration for the arced logo comes not only from the logos of multiple German manufactures, but also from the Arc of Dreams, which Tim witnessed being erected in downtown Sioux Falls through many nightly walks with his wife and their dog. The logo arcs over the city in which Tim started putting together watches and the watch itself marks a major turning point in Tim's watch adventures. Gone were the days that he ordered premade dials, in were the days where he could source hands of a proper length and modify them to fit the movement. It also marks the first time Tim used a case that was not widely available from Chinese manufactures on the cheap. The No. 001 is truly Tim's first quest into the premium watch segment, but will not be his last.
